Charlie is a wild story. This storybook character survived the streets of Chicago’s south side for SEVEN whole years after his family left him behind.
Charlie has all the dog friends. He stayed clear of humans and he took a whole year to trap into safety! Charlie is LOVING foster life. Neuter, dental never feeling better physically. This guy LOVES to play fetch and cuddle his foster canine siblings. Bushes and concrete, have been replaced with couches and soft beds. Life couldn’t be better… oh wait, yes it can, he can be Forever home. Lovely, sensitive and positive soul looking for an easy going life to truly retire his heart into.

Our typical adoption fee varies based on the age of the dog at the time of rescue: Under the age of 1 years old is $600; 1-9 years old is $500; age 10 and over is $400; bonded pairs are $800. Fees include vaccinations, microchip, deworming and other vetting as needed. Our adoption process includes an application, reference check and home visit. Please note all adoption fees are final and non-refundable.
