We both grew up with dogs but didn’t become passionate about rescue and the ‘under-dog’ until adulthood. We fell in love with a pit bull named Spencer, and our lives were changed forever. He was a tough dog, was particular about who he liked, and took years of training and dedication to make him a safe dog. When he passed away, we knew that we had the capabilities of helping other dogs that would be passed by because they required extra effort. We were introduced to MCP through social media and fell in love immediately. We love MCP’s dedication to the dogs that get passed by; every animal deserves to be loved and valued. We love the mission to ensure dogs are placed in homes that are a good fit for both the human and the dog. We have since adopted 3 dogs and continuously foster one more. We love a full house!
