Tex! Tex is our miracle dog! He was lost during a potty break on a transport to Chicago from Mexico IN TEXAS. What are the odds?! We don’t give up on our dogs, so we got trackers involved and found a beautiful team of humans in Texas that cared and helped. Tex survived on his own outside for almost a month until we were able to trap him and bring him back to safety.
He also looks exactly like Charlie B. Barkin from All Dogs Go to Heaven!?! With the exact same incredible charm, except he has a super cute curly question mark tail.
He is remarkably smart and resilient. He LOVES seeking and giving love. He’s always checking in. He just wants to be your companion! He loves getting lots of pets and cuddles. He’s highly trainable, and very food motivated!
He absolutely LOVES other dogs, and he loves to play with other dogs! He also is able to take signals from other dogs that do not want to play. He’s the most social and popular guy at doggie daycare! He is always up for all kinds of activities, and is looking for a very active lifestyle!

Please feel free to email us anytime for additional information on any of our animals - info@mcprescue.org. Our typical adoption fee varies based on the age of the dog at the time of rescue: Under the age of 1 years old is $600; 1-9 years old is $500; age 10 and over is $400; bonded pairs are $800. Fees include vaccinations, microchip, deworming and other vetting as needed. Our adoption process includes an application, reference check and home visit. Please note all adoption fees are final and non-refundable.
