Meet Wynter

Wynter

Driving back from a wellness check about a pitbull posted to be living outside on one of the coldest days of the year, we saw what appeared to be a small animal with a paw raised freezing in the snow across the street. We pulled over and I jumped out to secure this poor girl after realizing it was the tiniest of dogs!  Long story medium- we couldn't find an owner and she was in desperate need of warmth and care, so we took her home and called her Wynter.
Wynter is a loving papillon who has all of the classic papillon energy, intelligence, and spice. She is around 5 years old and weighs 5.5lbs.
She is an escape artist with a caliber equivalent to that of Houdini!  So, she needs an owner that will never become complacent and take measures to ensure she is always safe. She is active and usually on the move. While she’s a hardcore snuggler, she wants a best friend who will take her on lots of long walks and hikes. She would absolutely love another dog companion and would likely also get along with calm cats and kids.
To say she's intoxicating is an understatement. It took us less than a week to be completely head over heels. She needs some basic obedience training, but nothing major. Recall practice, and other helpful commands in the case she gets away from you would be a good thing to have in your arsenal. Basic commands are helpful for every dog.  She’s already an amazingly beautiful, abundant, spunky, sweet, charming, adorable, and absolutely wonderfully awesome pup in a teeny tiny package!!!
