We have been fostering together with MCP since November, helping 5 (almost now 6) dogs find their forever homes in that time. Julia was initially fostering 5 years ago, and ended up finding the dog of a lifetime in her mastiff Gus. When beginning to foster again as a couple, our boy Gus has proven to be an integral part of the decompression process, guiding puppies and adult dogs alike into safety and comfort. We know that fostering saves lives, and we choose to foster through MCP time and again because they look out for the (literal) underdogs and those often overlooked. We are committed to connecting our fosters to their forever homes. We trust and believe in the MCP process of vetting applicants and extending meet and greets out to numerous visits, understanding a dog's specific needs and finding a match that can support that. MCP is unlike other rescues in that we are all viewed as members of a team, we feel supported every step of the way. We have the same goal of providing a dog with the best life possible and we advocate strongly for those animals without a voice.
