Join the Pack

We look at this process as adopting new humans into our Pack vs adopting our dogs out.

We are full disclosure. We know our dogs well. We stand behind our dogs 100%. We are selective on who we bring into our Pack. We are comfortable saying no at any time during the process. We look for organic connections and humans willing to put in the work it takes to create successful Forever relationships. We like to go slow to ensure proper communication so that everyone is on the same page and to secure a successful match. We are extremely hands on throughout from first meet and greet throughout decompression, onto Forever. We hold our animals and humans close. Hence, we are quality over quantity.

Many of applications that are excepted we suggest a different dog/cat with a stronger match potential. We have made a respected name for ourselves in providing honest information in connecting our animals to potential families. People either understand what we offer, or they don’t and we understand that. We aren’t for everyone.

Potential new MCP members are expected to meet with their potential match, at least three times. Often, more visits are necessary to ensure a successful transition for our animals. We put in the work and expect our new members to do the same.

Out of state adoptions do happen. For starters, it depends on the strength of the potential match. Humans then are expected to come into the Chicagoland area multiple times or make accommodations to stay nearby to create a relationship with the dog.

We do not ship animals.
We do not allow gifting of animals.
We do not allow surprises to family members of new animals.
All family members are expected to be a part of the process.
Dogs under a year: $600

Dogs 1-9yo: $500

Dogs 10 years and older: $400

Bonded pairs: $800

Cats: $150, $225 for a pair
