After several years of volunteering in the Chicago animal welfare and rescue community, I’m thrilled to join the MCP Rescue pack as the Operations Manager.

My journey with MCP began after a heartbreaking experience of witnessing a dog abandoned at a cemetery, tied to a fence with a muzzle on. This 90-pound gentle giant needed a second chance at life, so we started reaching out to local rescues for help. Despite contacting dozens of rescues in Chicago, they all asked the same question: “Have you reached out to MCP yet? He looks like an MCP dog.”

I’m so grateful that our path led us to MCP. There is truly no other rescue like it in Chicago. MCP is dedicated to helping the "hard-to-place" animals—whether it’s XL bully breeds, extreme medical cases, seniors, or those who need a sanctuary the most. I’m excited to bring my experience in program management and operations to a cause that is deeply meaningful to me.
