MCP Rescue has been by far the most honest rescue I have worked with in the Midwest.

They pull some of the most medically or behavioral challenged dogs. I respect that. They are small but so mighty. They see every dog (and sometimes cats and other friends) through without taking shortcuts. That also includes potential adopters and fosters. If it’s not a good match, then they always do the right thing for the dog, first.

That’s rare. Seeing it through to the end.

I have worked with Marta to pull and transport some real projects in Chicago, California, Florida, North Carolina and Aruba.

The thing I like most about working with MCP, whether it be us pulling a dog together or fostering/adopting through them (I have 2 from MCP), is the transparency and honesty. There’s not enough of that nowadays. For good or bad, just the truth. It makes life more real.

The outreach programs they have done for the Chicagoland community, and also a case by case basis is unparalleled.
