Nala was found as an owner surrender in Chicago Animal Control without her siblings and in less than ideal health conditions. Throughout her journey back into fighting shape, she has never lost her indominable spirit and immense capabilities to love. These days, Nala is the ruler of her foster home, consistently playing with her foster siblings and trying to figure out how many toys she can fit on the dog bed while still leaving room for herself. Unless, of course, she has been invited underneath a thick blanket to snuggle with her humans, and then she’s not moving until they do! She sleeps beautifully in her crate and understands the concepts of potty pads. Nala would love a home with a fellow playful dog to continue to teach her the ropes and hopefully a very large bed where she can continue to practice being a dragon on her hoard of treasures.
