Meet Navy

Navy

Age: 7 months old Sex: Female

Breed: CaneCorso Mastiff Weight: 70 pounds

Good In Home With: Dogs

Navy’s story could have ended the day she was brought into CACC as a euthanasia request.
Skin and bones, too weak to open her eyes, her body was so fragile, and the pain so intense, she would scream if anyone came near. The notes from the euthanasia room said you could smell her suffering. But Navy had other plans—her strength, resilience, and spirit refused to be extinguished despite everything she had clearly endured.
We named her Navy because she is powerful, strong, and unbreakable. Instead of her story ending on a cold table, Navy became an MCP dog, and her story transformed into one of hope.
Weeks in the hospital slowly brought her back to life, and now, in the loving arms of her foster home, Navy is discovering the joy of simply being a dog. She’s playful with her canine friends, loves to explore the yard, and has perfected the art of cuddling on the couch for cozy movie nights. Each day, she grows stronger, more confident, and more ready for the next chapter: her Forever home.
Navy’s past has shaped her into a soulful, wise companion who has lived a thousand lives in one. She would thrive in an adult-only home with some canine siblings to keep her company. Navy is the kind of dog who will look into your eyes and remind you what resilience truly means.
If you’re looking for a soul dog who’s been to the edge and back, and is now ready to write the happiest chapter of her life, Navy is your girl. Are you the one who will give her the world?
