Meet Piper

Piper

Age: 1.5 years old Sex: Female Breed: Pitbull Weight: 55 pounds Good In Home With: Dogs, Kids

Strap on the seatbelts of the heart!

Maybe even take a seat... your knees are going to buckle.

Piper was left outside tied up to a bush in the cold, and snowy day/night (we don't know exactly when) of Chicago winter. She was curled up on the cold ground and shivering, waiting for mercy, next to her a bag of food. Someone wanted her to have a chance...

Piper is a survivor, yes, but more so she's a poet of life.

She is a very beautiful, and kind.

A sweet soul, first and foremost.

She is loving life in her foster wonderful foster home, with her two foster canine siblings.

Notes from her foster mom include:

Playful, silly, loving, sweet, sun bather, curious.

She loves to be near her humans.

She does super well in her crate, and takes treats in the most gentle way I’ve ever seen.

She's a love with a big heart, and an innocent, humor filled mind.

PS: the video of Piper being Rescued went viral and she's now basically famous. Bigger news, she doesn't give half a hoot. Fame isn't her thing, but being her most authentic self is and we adore her for it!
