Rico

Rico is a morning type of guy.
He absolutely loves life and appreciates the beauty that is sunrise. Don't get us wrong, he's a cuddler, so if you must sleep in— he's there too. Current schedule begins at 6 am with pre-walk stretching.
A nice walk followed by a big breakfast. He loves meal time! Then a nice nap until 9 am and then off to Pack Life to play with his friends. Dinner is served at 5:30 the way he likes it and then a nice long walk around the neighborhood to see what is going on, who is out and about and are there any puppies I can play with. He is good on leash and though very excited when meeting new friends, human or puppy, he can calm down quickly to continue his exploration of the neighborhood. He loves car rides and adventures! He also loves to sunbathe. After a final walk post dinner and before bed, he likes to retire to his Orvis Tempur Pedic bed with his blanket for a much deserved night of rest. He appreciates a good neck and chin scratch before retiring for a nap or a good nights sleep. On weekends, he enjoys family walks and playing with all his chew toys, from ropes to rings to pineapples. Rico was a term dog at Chicago Animal Care and Control and Control, we saw him and would not give up until a foster stepped up and saved him. We are very grateful, because he's very special and full of that magical underdog magic!
